The Imo state Governor Hope Uzodimma today announces the launch of the Shared Prosperity Education Support Scheme (SPESC) and distribution of customized school note books and bags for primary and secondary schools in Imo.

“It is expected that through these educational materials, our students will be more motivated in the process of learning and knowledge acquisition.”
“Recall that the Covid-19 pandemic and the attendant forced – lockdowns had kept our students away from the conventional schooling process for months. We hope to spur their interest and increase students enrollment, once again, through this initiative”.
“We have continued to promote the cause of education in the State through some well-intended policies like the ban on all forms of levies and dues in our schools, amongst others”.
