Peter Obi Raises Alarm Over INEC Alleged Moves To Manipulate Presidential Results

Concerns are raised by Peter Obi on alleged attempts to rig the presidential election by INEC.

After the apparent failure by INEC workers to upload many of the election results to the INEC server at the voting stations, the Obi-Datti Media Office has expressed concern over what it alleges is an underhanded attempt to alter the presidential election results across the country.

This was said in a statement released on Saturday in Abuja and signed by Diran Onifade, the head of the Obi-Datti Media Office.

He said it was strange, unacceptable, and stinks of fraud that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BIVAS) device could honorably provide the Senate and House of Representatives results but not the presidential election results.

The Obi-Datti Media Office has certain concerns regarding the BVAS’s choice of which results to upload as well as which to omit. The election process appears to be being used in what appears to be a serious scam to frustrate the aspirations of the Nigerian people, who have already decided that things cannot continue to go wrong in Nigeria.

The Obi-Datti Media Office has discovered what appears to be a plan to rig the election and thwart the views of the majority of Nigerian voters, and the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) should be held accountable.

We also think Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, acting inappropriately. We request that all pertinent organizations take the necessary action to stop the governor from interfering with the election.
